An interior scene of a living room and bedroom in Stimson Hall. The living room includes an upholstered couch and chair, a table and lamps; curtains hang over the bay window. In the center of the room, a hallway leads to the bedroom where a pair of single beds are separated by a nightstand. Designed by Rudolph Weaver in 1923, Stimson Hall is the oldest extant men's dormitory on campus. Named for Regent Fred S. Stimson, the dormitory is a mixture of the Colonial and Renaissance Revival Styles. Closed in 1983 for renovation, plans to convert the building to office space were disbanded.
