1 ms.; bird's-eye, 11 x 18.5 cm. Fr. Nicholas Point headed to the Rocky Mountains in 1841 with Father Pierre Jean DeSmet and five other Jesuit missionaries. As the group's official diarist on this trip, Point sketched Saint Mary's Village among the Flatheads.
